INDOOR TOT PARK
Equipment available for use includes: mats, balls, hula hoops, climbing boxes, parachutes, tunnels and more! All participants must stop at the office before attending each day!

JUNIOR NATURE EXPLORERS

T-BALL
Ages: 4 - 5
A great first step towards Little League! Players are divided into teams to learn and play the game of baseball. The teams will spend the first three weeks working on skills and drills with Coach Mike & their respective coaches. The final three weeks the teams will play instructional games based on their team's schedule. You will be notified by email of the time for the first week. If you are interested in coaching a team, please contact the Philipstown Recreation Department at 845.424.4618. Summer Programs
CREATIVE MOVEMENT AND ART
Ages 11/2 to 3
Ignite your child's creative voice through creative movement and art! Each class explores age-appropriate themes, such as texture and opposites, and provides multiple entry points for a variety of learners. We sing, we dance, we create with our hands...we make friends, encourage self-expression and plant seeds for life-long learning. If minimum registration is met, we will be joined by musician Toshi Yano.

Summer Camp
Preschool
Art, music, storytelling, movement, outdoor exploration, water play, games, picnicking and making friends. Lots of fun for children 3 to 5 years of age. Each week with also incorporate the special events and activities related to the themes outlined below. Snack is included. All campers must be potty trained. The extended day program allows children to stay until 3pm. A minimum enrollment of 10 children must be met in order for the extended day to run. Each child must bring a bagged lunch labeled with his/her name. An updated medical form is required to attend summer camp. See page 15 for more information

Learn all about the nature around us. Hike around the Community Center, create sun prints and beautiful art about the world around us. Discover the animals in your own back yard with a special nature guest.
HALLOWEEN

Celebrate Halloween in July! We’ll make spooky crafts and snacks and our own silly ghost stories. We will end our week with a costume party.
Kids Kitchen
July 9 - 13
These little chefs will go hands on and start to explore the culinary world. Participants will make a breakfast, a lunch, snacks and dessert throughout the week.
PIRATES
July 16 - 20
Ahoy there mateys! Come for a swashbucklin’ week of treasure hunting. We will make treasure maps and create our own adventures!
Land of make Believe
July 23 - 27
Pretend you’re a princess, a knight or explorer- be your favorite imaginary character. Join your friends to create your own story; build a castle or a fort- use your imagination to turn Summer Fun into whatever you want it to be!
Wacky Week
July 30 - August 3
Get ready for a wild and crazy adventure. Wear your pajamas to camp one day and crazy hat another, tie dye a shirt, read a story backwards, color outside the lines- who knows what could happen?
Beach party
August 6 - 10
Splash your way through a week of fun in the sun! Explore the world of water through art projects, books, science experiments and more. Cool off with homemade ice pops, and end the week with a summer treat and a game of limbo.
CARNIVAL
August 13 - 17
Send the summer out with a celebration! We’ll be doing fair inspired crafts, playing carnival games and enjoying midway treats this week
KINDERGARTEN
This program is for children entering kindergarten in September. Campers will have their own dedicated space in the building but will also be able to take advantage of our many special instructors. Daily activities may include free play, water play, arts & crafts, music, dress-up, gym time, playground play, outdoor games and nature exploration. Each week we will also incorporate special events and activities related to the themes outlined below. Maximum enrollment of 16 children per week. Each child must bring a bagged lunch labeled with his/her name and a separate labeled snack. Campers should come to camp wearing a bathing suit and bring a towel and a change of clothes. An updated medical form is required to attend summer camp. See page 15 for more information.

Fun in the sun. Come make beach inspired crafts, fruit salad and have a luau dance party.

Five more countries in five more days. Bring your imagination and we will travel. We’ll make crafts, and eat snacks from the places we discover as we explore the world.
