Come join our group of 12 to 19 year olds providing entertainment for the community and having a good time exploring all aspects of performing arts, including acting, script-writing, lighting, sound, set design, event planning & management, marketing & publicity. Y.E.S. - YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SERVICE
If you are 14 years of age or older and are interested in working part-time, we have requests from area employers for mowing, snow removal and baby-sitting, as well as some fun positions with the Rec Department. Please complete a registration form at the Recreation Office. Employers, please call if you need help. We do not negotiate salaries or provide transportation. This program is partially funded by the NY State Office of Children & Family Services.
SUMMER CAMP:
TEEN TRAVEL
Grades 7 and Up
An experience for our senior campers, this program is designed to give participants the best of both worlds! Campers will take a minimum of 2 trips a week off campus, and still have time to enjoy traditional camp activities with our Teen Lounge campers (see Teen Lounge details page) including sports, arts & crafts, music studio, cooking, video games, hiking, dodgeball and all special camp-wide events. Campers will also be swimming at the Highlands Country Club at least once a week. All campers will be swim tested the first week they attend camp. Please note some dates and trip details are subject to change due to weather and availability concerns; also, Teen Travel campers are not eligible to go on Teen Lounge trips. SPACE IS LIMITED SO PLEASE REGISTER EARLY! An updated medical form is required to attend summer camp.
